Bulgarian and Serbian are the South Slavic language of the Indo-European language family. Bulgarian written in the Cyrillic alphabet is the official language of Bulgaria and closely related to Macedonian language. Serbian, using both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, is the official language in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Romanian is a Romance language belongs to an Indo-European language family. Romanian is the official language of Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Four principal dialects are Dacoromanian, Aromanian (also called Macedoromanian), Meglenoromanian and Istroromanian. Bulgarian and Romanian are the official languages of the European Union.
